In the midst of rapid change in this digital era, entrepreneurship can no longer be separated from the use of technology. Digital transformation has changed the way people think, behave and make decisions, including in the business world. As someone who aspires to be an entrepreneur, I realize that relying on intuition and passion alone is not enough. I need a solid foundation and an understanding of how businesses can grow through a digital approach. That’s why I decided to join Digital Entrepreneur Class, a learning program designed to equip aspiring entrepreneurs with practical skills in building, managing, and growing a business in the digital era. Since the beginning of the class, I have realized that this program is not just about providing theory. It became a transformational experience that changed my mindset towards business from mere ideas to structured, measurable, and sustainable actions. What’s interesting about this program is its systematic learning flow, from the introduction of the game changer concept, digital business model development, market and product analysis, digital marketing strategies, to how we have to build our own landing page and manage business social media. This class not only taught me how to, but also encouraged me to do. I learned from mentors, interacted with other participants, and engaged in real projects that made me feel that this was no longer just training, but a real simulation of building a business from scratch.
One of the earliest materials I learned in Digital Entrepreneur Class was about game changers. This material became an important foundation because it made me realize that in a competitive business world, success is not only determined by who has the first idea, but by who is able to execute the idea in a different and relevant way. We were encouraged to recognize the real problems faced by society, and then create solutions that not only solve the problem, but also have a unique value proposition a unique value that is not owned by competitors. I began to reflect on the various business ideas I had, and focused on the one with the strongest long-term potential. During this phase, I was guided to develop the Digital Business Model Canvas, a framework that helped me understand the overall business structure visually and systematically. I learned how an idea should have a clear roadmap: who are my customers, what do they need, how do I reach them, what are the costs involved, and how do I make a profit. This process was very eye opening for me because all this time I thought that a business idea could be run by instinct and improvisation. As it turns out, a strong digital business requires a planned and measurable foundation. After that, we went into the product and market analysis stage. This is where I really dug into who my target market was. We were asked to develop customer personas, understand in detail who would use our products, what their main problems are, how they habitually find solutions, and what makes them choose one brand over another. I started doing research, small interviews, market observation, and analyzing competitors. From this process, I realized that the success of a business largely depends on how deeply we understand our customers. I became more sensitive to the needs of my targets, and started designing solutions that really fit their conditions. Then we learned digital marketing strategy, where I was taught various online marketing strategies, from organic to paid. I learned how to create content that fits the customer journey, from awareness, consideration, to conversion. Here I was introduced to terms like sales funnel, lead magnet, email automation, and remarketing. It was all taught with a practical and relevant approach. I also created a digital campaign plan for my business, complete with content, distribution channels, target market, and metrics to be achieved. I also learned how to write persuasive copywriting, create visual content, and customize messages according to Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and website platforms. But of all the materials, the part that I liked the most and felt the impact directly was landing page development. In this session, we didn’t just learn theory, but were actually asked to design our own business web pages. This was a very satisfying turning point for me. Because this is where all the concepts I learned-from business model, target market, to marketing strategy were put together in a tangible form. I designed the page structure, wrote the headlines and product descriptions, determined the call-to-action, chose the color palette and visual elements, and made sure everything was responsive on mobile devices. This process made me feel very connected to my business, as I could see and manage how my audience would interact with my brand for the first time. In addition, I also learned the basics of UX/UI so that the website is not only beautiful to look at, but also easy to navigate. I feel that this material really helped me combine the strategic and creative sides in one place. After the website was completed, we moved on to social media management and content creation. At this stage, I learned how to plan a content calendar, manage various social media platforms, and build a loyal community. I started creating different types of content short videos, educational carousels, interactive stories, and captions based on customer characteristics. Here, I realized that social media is not only a promotional tool, but also a communication bridge that builds closeness between brands and customers. We were also given simulations using tools such as Canva and Meta Business Suite. The final project of this class was to present a business idea complete with its digital presence. From market research, business model, digital strategy, to landing page design and social media content. The presentation process was a tense and proud moment. I received a lot of feedback from the mentors and other participants, which made me more confident and open to constructive criticism. From all these processes, I felt a real transformation: from someone who only had an idea, to someone who has a complete digital business plan and is ready to run.
Joining the Digital Entrepreneur Class was not just an ordinary learning experience-it was an important milestone in my journey to build the foundation of a digital entrepreneur. From day one, I was made aware that digital entrepreneurship is not just about selling products on the internet, but about creating solutions, understanding consumer behavior, developing data driven strategies, and continuously innovating in the face of market changes. From getting to know the concept of game changers that pushed me to think more sharply and differently, to building a digital business model that tested the feasibility, direction and competitiveness of my business idea, every step in this class broadened and deepened my perspective on the dynamic and opportunity filled world of digital business. One of the most impactful materials for me personally is landing page development. In this section, all the learning during the class was put into action. I not only learned how to design web pages, but also how to think as a brand owner how to structure the right message flow, understand the behavior of potential customers when interacting with the page, and how visual and text design can influence their decisions. It was very satisfying to see that all the concepts that I had previously learned-from customer journey mapping, copywriting techniques, color selection, visual structure, to call-to-action placement came together in one digital page that I designed myself. This page became a concrete representation of my business idea and a starting point for building credibility online. This part made me feel really involved, not just as a student, but as a creator of the brand I wanted to build. In addition, this program also equipped me with a deeper understanding of the importance of recognizing who our target market is, how to develop a targeted digital marketing strategy, and how to build a presence on various digital platforms, including social media. I learned how to create content that is not only visually appealing, but also emotionally relevant to the audience. I began to understand the importance of consistency in brand messaging and how a well thought out marketing strategy can build long-term relationships with customers, not just generate instant sales. Materials such as social media management, content creation, and customer analysis became important pillars that I refer to in developing my business strategy going forward. Now, I stepped into the real world with a much stronger and well rounded arsenal not just in terms of knowledge, but also in terms of hands-on experience in building and executing the essential elements of a digital business. I bring with me a tangible portfolio of business landing pages, ready to go marketing strategies, and a keener understanding of who my customers are and how to reach them effectively. More than that, I feel like I’ve undergone a mentality shift. I no longer just think as someone with a business idea, but as an entrepreneur who is adaptive to change, creative in solving challenges, and brave enough to make real decisions. Digital Entrepreneur Class has helped me undergo a transformation from an idea owner to a digital entrepreneur who is ready to grow and compete sustainably. The journey may have just begun, but I know I’m on the right track.
